What a beaut.

I totally agree. I would get either 3 Bravias or a 2 or 3 30" Dell screens. Wont ever pay that much for a setup like that. sorry samsung.

lol. it is under R30k in SA...

But i know what you mean, i would rather get many monitors before this one. not a bravia as it is rubbish but there are many other ones i would get.

Bravia is rubbish? Care to enlighten me why? Im actually looking to purchase a new monitor to use as secondary one with my laptop.

Bravia Rubbish.... I say you are talking rubbish! :) Why you say so?
I own a 40" LCD Bravia and I'm luuuuving it!

The only other brand I will concider is a Samsung. (Using 24" on my PC).

The tax is just stupid. The Government just want more money and we must just pay. There are some pretty awesome Samsung LED's out that I want/need.

As a computer monitor, don't use TVs...

As TVs, don't use bravias...

They're not absolute rubbish, that was maybe an exaggeration. But there are other brands I would trust before them quite easily. They use Sharp panels which are not so great. They somehow think that the processing unit does all the work and the panel doesn't matter as much.

THis was probably done in order to compete with other brands and has flopped quite badly in my opinion. They are continuing on the good name obtained from the days when they used to make decent products. But in current times, there are better choices, so choose them.

@ Faffa - S27A550H looks nice and is big, but I doesn't have enough inputs for me. Have a look at this one --> Samsung PX2370. Although it is only 23" I think it would be a perfect PC Monitor with enough options to plug in more devices that you may want to use later. Also it's not that big that you need a TV stand to put it on.

Not to mention the monster PC you will need to run anything on that. If you don't feel poor after you bought that you will in a years time when its worth half what you got it for.
