because in this case 2 cards worked out cheaper than one big ass card and ruin the one big ass card in most games.

It depends on what type of machine you have. If you have a 1366 chipset you wont have to worry, 1156 chipset runs 16x but not in sli. It then downgrades you to 8x. Might limit performance a bit. The 1366 does not, it stays on 16x regardless.

16x will eventually become a thing of the past as everything does. they will probably bring 20x out or whatever. I dont know because i have not done the research.

phoned up computersonly to get a progress update on my order..
they didn't ship yesterday due to the one card testing faulty, so they got a replacement and only shipping out today :(
 
yeah sucks, oh well atleast it happened by the dealer when they tested, rather than i have a doa card and have to rma it...

detail set to high in the menu not custom for got about that so vsync was active...

will do it again tomorrow with vsync off but the game was damn nice :)
