Hey I am looking at getting a new tv too. I went to game the other day, and was looking at an HD sinotech 42". I was thinking about maybe going plasma, my lounge has lots of light, and I don't use the TV for games. My one worry was phospher burn in. The salesman told me that this no longer happens. Is this true? Is a plasma screen 'safe' to buy?
Dude, anything under 50inch get a LCD TV, anything 50 and above go plasma
Plasmas only support full HD 50 inch and up, and they dont have have the burn anymore as with older models.
42" plasma ...![]()
out of interest, what is the hight (ie top to bottom of actual screen) of a 32" lcd...
Plasma is nice, but LCD is a better option if you're going to use it on your pc / gaming.

Do some research though, as I'm biased towards using a big ass screen for your main PC monitor.![]()
