New Vegas lead explains Skyrim's PS3 lag issues

Bethesda can't be blamed for this though.
Sony needs to be blamed for this xD
Instead of spending cash where it was needed, they put in a Blu ray drive which pushed up the price by a lot and ended up giving there console the same amount of memory as the x360 but just not as usable as the xbox 360's.

Putting the Blu-Ray in was the right move imho. Splitting a meager 512 RAM was not. I'm just glad I went with the PC version on this one.

It's a tricky situation at best. One the one hand you can blame the developers for not realising this issue sooner and developing a workaround or alternate way to manage memory usage. On the other hand Sony has a strange design which could simply mean that they never planned for any developer to run into this situation with a game.

I don't remember having any such problem on my PS3 with Fallout NV...
WTF?!

Either way... Dunno what all the fuss is about. It would be rather simple to fix.
Every item moved gets saved? Change that. Make it so that the item must move at least X distance before it warrants entry into the database.

Boom! Problem solved!
