I wish South Africa has bigger range of headphones. I searched around and there aren't that many decent brands here. And you can't trust bidorbuy for authentic stuff.
 
purple not exactly my fav color ,but then i'm a man of function and these seem Good,plus cant see the purple if its on my head
 
This competition seems to have cropped up in the nick of time as my old headphones just broke today, got them all wrapped up in insulating tape and the sound from the left side is a bit funky (had then since 2008 so lasted a good while). :) Now all I need is 20 decent non spamming posts before Tuesday. Time to be "productive" :)
 
Purple is not realy my color, but I Seriously need a new pair of headphones!!!!!!!!!! My wife will also love them!!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!

No, it won't work out of the box. You will need something like an Astro Mixamp or a converter that connects to the standard Playstation A/V cable in order to use them. In the case of the converter sound might be a bit soft as well.
 
I don't really care about looks. comfort is more important and I had one of these before until they broke and they are the most comfortable headset I ever had in my life
