I always thought durability but since I have a blackwidow ultimate with backlighting on my main pc it has made a world of difference for me!

The one quirk I have with keyboards is that the keys above the arrow keys must be 2 rows of 3 and NOT 2 columns of 3. The Delete, End and Page Down keys must be next to each other!!!

I agree that comfort is important, but it should be second to durability. A comfortable keyboard won't do much good if it doesn't last. But that's just my opinion

Exactly, almost all keyboard layouts are the same. Why would comfort differ from one keyboard to the next. I voted backlighting, as it the most useful feature, if you game in low to no ambient light, which most of us do.

I chose comfort, since it is the closest thing to mechanical keys on there. I also have to disagree StaggerLee, as comfort should take priority over durability, simply because it is either to replace a keyboard than your wrists (but that could also come down to proper posture, which I don't have).

I was torn between backlighting and comfort, but most keyboards are pretty comfortable once you get used to whatever design the company were going for. But as a regular LAN goes and gamer, at night, some backlighting is the best

I would have added another option to the poll. One for Key Layout. Nothing more frustrating than getting a new keyboard and the layout of the keys is different. Referring to things like the spacing between the function keys (F1-F12), size of the enter button and backspace etc...

Easy or soft touch keys are essential for me. I prefer if I don't even feel the keystrokes! Also prefer Low profile keys, I think thats from working on a Laptop for ages!

I agree - most keyboards are pretty comfortable once you get used to it. So yes comfort is important, i voted for programmable keys cause you can do some pretty niffty things with them!

Durability and Comfort.

No matter how conformable the keyboard is if it does not have durability you will have you buying a new one each year if you use it a lot.

Durability i think... you get some people who rage quite bad sometimes. Spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die... Oh there goes all the buttons from the keyboard! :wtf:
