Hey boyz and girlz

I wanted to know if ur grabbing something from a news server eg: news.is

how do you find other alternatives to get ur downloads to come in??? as im downloading some mods for Duke 3D HD but its taking FOREVER!!!! any ideas??

its probably uncached thats Y ! Download after 6 at nite, the servers usually operate at full speed even on uncached items at that time

ja but i have literally left my PC running for like 4days solid and its only grabbed like 5 items... thats why im looking for other alternatives...

It is very slow at times. Often, it's quicker to just go find a direct download link :/

try grabbing it from the saix server , using a saix account.

do you know any local news servers other than SAIX and IS???

nope... only those two.

SAIX and IS are about the only local ones that you're free to use (from what I know). SAIX hardly ever gives me issues except at peak times when the servers most likely get overloaded...but SAIX does have 2 servers now so it's helped spread the load.

Yeah, get an Axxess pre-paid account. Local is very cheap and then you can use the saix servers.

well im considering it seeing as i have an IS account then i can always switch between the 2
