Next-gen consoles should only last 6 years: EA, Sony

Makes sense. Knowing that PC tech will be advancing at ludicrously faster levels in year to come kind of forces the hands of SONY/MS to plan faster so as not to fall behind
 
DDR4 is around the corner and from what I understand it kicks down DDR5/3 by far, so that and improvements to SOC's will be crazy in 5 years, you'll be able to fit close to double a PS4 onto 1 chip (well if they seriously drive the technology)
