Next gen Wii out in 2012, probably

So next gen for Nintendo is current gen now, and they will then do something silly like make it read special discs again and have normal controllers ;-)
 
Well they've been making loads of cash of of the Wii for a couple of years now, so maybe they'll pull out all the stops and make an insane machine........ :eek:

I thinks is great for Nintendo, but it kinda sucks for ppl who just bought a Wii with the price drop. Wii been around for only 5 years, but that seems to be Nintendo's general 5 year plan strategy.. Just wonder if its potential will be tapped in 5 years, given XBOX360 and PS3 might be only ending their lifecycle then...

Not from what i read on most websites, the max resolution 720p, triple core CPu much like Xbox its only the GPU which seems to be technically better at the moment. But since nothing is set in stone, may they will do something with it yet.
 
well at least nintendo is moving up in the world now, they'll soon be where microsoft and sony are if they go through with this
