No dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 3 - Report

One more nail in the coffin of the franchise. The sooner they seal this casket up and bury it the better, at least I see they are doing all they can to speed up the process.

CoD has become nothing more than an insult to the intelligence of gamers.

I think this pretty much illustrates the effect this news will have on a great big portion of MW fans - especially those that were still sitting on the fence.

No dedicated servers is a big mistake imo.
Making people pay subs for crappy "premium services" is even worse though...
 
Well if over a hundred thousand PC games buy MW2 what did you expect, Activision tested the market and idiots took it hook line and sinker

I think many people were like me with MW2 wait and see maybe it can be better. Now that they had there chance and it didn't work so well. People won't get MW3. That's what i think is going to happen.
 
Wow, freaking money-hungry bastards. No dedicated servers and a premium multiplayer service?

As one user said, CoD is gonna kill itself with this one - not BF3.

i like COD4 so much i thought MW2 would be great and at times i def was, but the P2P system often ruined my gaming nights when i got back from work, i refuse to sit through that again, how rediculas is it that you have to depend on someone else being online aka the host in order to get a game, its not like every 2nd person has a 4mb line and then ontop of that have thier ports open...i have a 4mb line with open ports and STILL you need others to join you, but no there are 12 players currently in a lobby and 3 poor sods waiting in another for other people to come online and join, THAT ALONE is a failure, this isn XBOX 360 NOT the USA where so many people are online that you instantly get a game upon searching, so no, if you brought MW2 shame on activision, if you buy MW3, shame on you....
