No end in sight for WoW says Blizzard

Well, they're not going to be seeing me much longer. I don't know why, but WoW just ain't the same anymore.

I know what my reason is for leaving.

I've been in this mammoth game for 6 years now, going on 7. Its just getting old. Same shizz, different expansion. Over and over.
Apart from "difficulty" between expansions, it really is still the exact same thing as 6 years ago. Nothing new.
Nothing to "keep me interested".

can't find the article i posted on mmo's relating to companies trying to keep their old players while keeping the new players happy. then making the game to easy. bah, if only i could find the damned thing it's a really nice read.

WOW will never end! 20 years from now middle-aged fanboys will still be paying their $15 a month to Blizzard...

If Blizzard actually were smart people they would have gone a different route with their MMO and have you pay-to-play the new "game" (expansion) and make the previous release of the game available on a free-to-play basis with an in-game shop other cool shit for players to buy.

Then with the next expansion the old one goes free-to-play and so on and so forth this would get a couple million extra people playing the game again. I might even think of playing it again.

Sorry to say, but you suffered a bit of a reading fail there.

I said I'm bored with the repetition, over several years.
No complaints whatsoever about difficulty being too high or low, as I am quite indifferent to it.

But nice try at trying to look clever.

It's become so laughably idiotic on those forums, I've just removed the page from my speed-dial.

Basically... I don't bother to even go back daily for my usual reading.

Wow damage dealing forums used to be my main source of comic relief, now it has just gotten sad.

I enjoyed it until WotlK tBC was my favourite expansion by far!
