No Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for PC because of piracy

I read this over on Destructoid last night and was pretty shocked, not at the fact that Future Soldier is not coming to PC but rather the ridiculous statements that have been made. Where the hell did he thumb suck "95%" of PC Gamers will pirate their game??? And if that's even remotely true, they were never potential buyer's anyway!

If they don't want to make Future Soldier for PC, then just say "We're not releasing on PC"? Don't try to justify it by saying, "well we not making it for PC BECAUSE it will get pirated". This kind of thinking is counter-productive and being outspoken about it will certainly not win you any points with any fans.

Ubisoft has been notoriously known for it's restrictive DRM that plagued legitimate customer's like myself from enjoying the games that I own. Perhaps they need a reality check. Oh and last time I checked, NOBODY pirates Xbox360 or PS3 games amirite?
 
Let me get this straight, Ubisoft says 95% of PC will pirate their game, so they are going to make it free to play?
 
its funny im sure their assassins creed, rainbow six and splinter cell franchises are bigger and yet those games they release on pc (bigger franchises usually gets pirated more last time i checked) !

Ubisoft needs to get heads out of asses, like piracy does NOT occur on consoles... PLEASE!
 
95%... Time for a reality check Ubisoft. Gamers do not take kindly to companies that boycott a platform due to statistics that was made up by the cleaning staff.

Never again will I buy a ubisoft game for PC or console.
 
No one said it but we are all thinking it , I think their devs saw BF3 and said crap we cant match this lets scrap our game
On a serious note , these guys fail so much with relating to there target audience , they have a super way of alienating their clients ,
Just to be clear even at 5% purchases dev costs been recouped 3folds .
If it came I would have bought it , it doesn't who care's there other IPs that cater for us and that deserve my cash.
