i pretty much expected this.it's like the frostbite engine was put in a very tight package so people can't their hands in to tweak it.it would still be cool to have a zombie map for BF3 though

I can understand where you're coming from - but......BF3 looks absolutely amazing and some realistic gameplay in my opinion

I dont Mod games.
I dont ever install Mods for games.
I have very little to zero interrest in Mods of any sort for any of the games I have ever played up until today.

The very small exception:
The one and only mod I have ever used, appreciated, supported and even valued at any level =
Titan Quest Camera Mod tools (For additional Zoom and Rotate options).

The lack of mod tools for any FPS game really won't even register on my radar. Ever.

Mod tools, that's not game-breaking, sure it would be nice but it seems mod tools are not as important as yesteryear....

the way i see it is that the call of duty franchises needs mod tools because people bitch about weapons and balancing of it ... for the battlefield franchises they kinda do it themselves with leka big patches

Where mods are cool is when the community makes new and more maps, but if Dice is going to provide new maps on a regular basis, then I don't have an issue with the no tools.

And speaking of tools, I wish they would stop with the baiting comments...
