No multi-play for The Order: 1886

thats a bummer, multiplayer would have been orsome considering the time period, setting and the weird steampunk style weapons the game has.

Probably for the best they are a small team better not spread yourself to thin and release a tacked on mp.Maybe for the second game still one of My most anticipated games for this year.

Yeah if the game is very successful I'm sure their budget and team would increase and possibly allow them to include multiplayer in the sequel.

What?!No MP...well that's a major let down, guess they were too lazy to make it also MP.

The game would have been so much more fun..sigh.Still looking forward to its release.

I don't think they were "too lazy" to add MP, I just think they don't want to ruin the game with tacked on MP like so many other games. Not every game needs MP. Good example would be Tomb Raider (2013). Brilliant SP game, but the MP was utter shite. They should rather have used those resources to add more stuff to the SP as it was wasted on an MP component that I'm sure nobody even plays.

I also don't see how can say the game would have been more fun with MP since you haven't even played the SP, or seen the game in action for that matter.

I think what dohc is getting at is that we haven't really had a multiplayer steampunk style game, although in a way I am glad they haven't added multiplayer, these days far to many games come out with last minute Multiplayer while other games focus to heavily on the mp.

Yeah, if MP was not a part of your core design then don't even bother.

I for one am ecstatic that it doesn't have multiplayer, recently developers just started throwing in multiplayer modes for no solid reason.

I agree about Tombraider why the mp was added no one knows. It's like they were just ticking a box.
