No Multiplayer in Infamous: Second Son

Sad news for those still holding out hope on a multiplayer component in the upcoming sequel to Infamous:

Suckerpunch has... suckerpunched previous rumours of a multiplayer component in Infamous: Second Son, confirming that it's a single-player game only.

In the charmingly awkward Google translation of an interview with Chinese gaming site UDN, studio brand development director Ken Schramm explained that the game "remains the single-player mode, there is no multiplayer play into the design". So that's that, I suppose.

Infamous: Second Son is out exclusively on PS4 on 21 March. In IGN's preview of the game, Greg Miller turned the town pink.

Infamous: Second Son won't have multiplayer

Hopefully the SP has a lot of replay-ability and a decent campaign length.
 
No multiplayer, no biggie really. Was not expecting it either.

But single player length should be long, don't wanna finish it in 12hour or less

I've not played the first 2 Infamous' to completion but given the open-world nature of the game I assume game length can't be too much of a problem? This one looks pretty good so I hope to get it once I find some way to get a PS4 lol.

True enough that tacked on multiplayer is wholly unnecessary; However it would be interesting to see fully functional and innovative multiplayer in Infamous
