No way, even if every person in South Africa signs the petition, the Eskom price hike is not a democratic decision. It's a company upping their prices!
And just think about the extra amount of money the gavvameent will make from all the tax, i mean, 150% price increases means that the gavvameent will get 150% more tax from everyone that buys electricity... and I promise you that's a shitload....
Example: I spend around R500 per month on electricity, that's about R70 tax, and it will go up by 150% to about R175... that's R105 from just me extra!!! Times that by all the other households in SA (that actually pays for electricity)
