Can confirm this, been going on for a long time. I also went for an interview with them and got told that I was the top candidate, I was practically being welcomed to the team when some other guy came in and told me they had already hired someone else, which turned out to be a BEE candidate. I later received a phone call from someone "higher up" and he told me not to take offense as it was the norm now and it was in no way my fault or because of anything I did.
They don't really give a shit, I've seen tons of job offers in the news paper where it stated white males need not apply, or positions are only for BEE/AA candidates ect.

Edit: Before I forget..My middle finger salute to the cunts ruining this country and running it into the ground, and to the people that vote for them, I honestly hope you continue to live here and when petrol hits R20 per L, and Etoll is forced on you, a loaf of bread costs R20, when the power gets cut on a daily basis because eskom can't cope with the demand, when the mines are nationalized and are closed down and the farms produce nothing but dust and when someone you know gets hijacked, robbed, shot, raped ect, its partly your fault.
