It seems, at least initially, that the laptop mentioned will be getting G-Sync without having the actual G-Sync hardware installed.
I really hope they do the same with monitors, otherwise the price might just stay really expensive for G-Sync monitors, making it "useless" for most consumers. I really hope that Nvidia decide to go the non-hardware route due to pressure from AMD and it's Freesync technology.
