Lol! Though, I think the NVidia GTX 3840 will be their pinnacle. When we reach that point, nearly all gamers will be running Oculus(es), Vive(s) and WTF else is out there that can be worn as a screen attached to your face.HAHA

Speaking of 1080p, I wonder whether my 24" Samsung monitor will still be working by that time?
I think that VR will have arrived when one does not need high-end graphics hardware to enjoy VR - and VR equipment costs at least half of what it does now......so I'm thinking GT 3600 rather than one of them fancy-pants GTX boards.
