Nvidia releases Geforce 182.06 drivers

Hell man, that is a big increase...
What were they doing with the previous drivers! Were they also WHQL or not certified? I didn't see that specifically, just that these new ones have OGL3.
These new drivers will make lotsa people happy(ier) methinks.
 
I've read about the problems with the 9800gtx+ cards and yet I am lucky in that I never had the problems that some people experienced. I'm glad they managed to fix it though.

And how about those performance increases!

the previous release definitely showed improvement on games with my card.

If this stretches it further then Nvidia FTW! thanks.

Same performance as the previous version of the drives? Shouldn't it be better? :confused:
 
I'm still rolling with the 174 or some such driver. I can't remember. The newer one screwed up my FarCry2 install so I just put the old one back.

It had too many issues with me using a 32" lcd tv as a primary pc screen :mad:
 
These drivers do not over any performance increase over 182.05 .

However, the 182.05 drivers which were released in beta form on Feb 10 offered the quoted performance enhancments over 181.22.

182.06 is the official release version of 182.05, and the performance enhancements gained in the beta are apparent in the new release.
 
well no BSODs, not hangs, crashes or any weird things. also no visible increase in performance in benching or games. All but 1 game.

Fallout 3 my avg FPS increased by 5-7FPS, but max FPS dropped a bit.

that's about it for the drivers from my side
