Nvidia reveals GeForce GTX 1080 Ti - Specifications and pricing

And then, a few months later.. AMD's VEGA is launched and matches the performance of this for 30- 40% of the price.
 
As much as I am a fan of all things AMD I foresee VEGA competing with the normal 1080, not the Ti. During their Ryzen launch event Dr. Lisa Su talked about making 4K gaming more affordable for the masses and I imagine that philosophy will carry over to VEGA by offering 1070~1080 performance at a much lower price point.

At least I am hoping they will be cheaper than a 1080 as I have dreams of buying two and running them in CrossFire in my new Ryzen rig. :love:

I have 2x RX480 and personally, i dont like the performance of it due to some scaling/driver issues. The games that are indeed optimized for xfire works beautifully though!
