NVIDIA Shield

Is it available in SA? I've seen alot of it on US sites, looks nice. Havent actively looked for it in SA, (wont be able to afford it anyway) but also havent seen locally.

Also, felt sorry for them when I saw this.

Have not seen a local price yet. only $. MUCH cheaper than any pc, and specs seem amazing.

I didn't know about the android device. But the Steam Shield itself looks great
 
Looked for it a while back and there was almost no info about it only a article myg did a while back.
 
There's a couple Nvidia Shield android TV units on bidorbuy and some online retailers. Comparing the benchmarks to the likes of Chromebox / Intel NUC it just blows them out of the water. I'm considering one as a Kodi system but the price is a bit high at +/- R6000 for the 16gb version.
