Nvidia Titan X first benchmarks revealed - world's most powerful graphics card

And just a month ago the GTX 1080 was "The world's most powerful graphics card"

I'm getting tired of this label.

Everyone knew the Titan X was coming. But it is not targeted at the gaming market. Same as previous titans

Uhuh, but this "Most powerful graphics card ever" shit needs to stop. Every bloody iteration of the Titan or GTX XX80/XX90 Ultra OC Gaming Edition gets the "Most powerful ever" treatment.

The 1080 was before the Titan was released. Now the Titan is.
Same with cars. A certain car was the fastest, until a car gets released after it which is now faster. not making it the fastest car ever. Ever meaning anything present and past. They can't really tell the future =D

It's like "new and improved"...i don't get it, if it's new how can you have improved on the previous design?

With a car that is a very simple example to justify. It's the new version of something. That they have improved. Hence it being a new model (of a certain base currently out), which has been improved =D
Very interesting that you are so uhm.. passionate about their wording :P

so there really isn't much of a difference in the 2 statements. When you crown a champ in any sport, you don't say champ, for now. He/she's a champ until another champ comes along.
