Of course you can. You can enter every month you just can't win consecutive months.

If he won the previous month then the prize will just fall over to the next month or the current competition will be extended.

I am intrigued. Ok, so stupid question time.

Where does one post/publish their story ?

Looking back, I don't see any thread with the previous winners' stories.

You post it in this thread. You can see the previous months' entries in the iGame subforum under iGame tournaments.

Wasteland 2

Just can't get enough of this game every hour that I am not playing it I keep thinking how I can make my Desert Rangers better since they are such a awesome party of ass kicking bad asses.

Take the sniper for instance the feel of a headshot when it lands is such a great feeling knowking now you can move on the other other bad guys coming with you with all sorts of arments.
Want to melt someone, energy weapons is for you melt that bad guy into goo!

Seriously, why does nobody enter these?

I enter all the time, but I never win because of my atrocious writing lol. :p

So Kalahari screwed up my order and I had to spend a few extra bucks to get it from GMG rather. Nevertheless, more bad grammar incoming...

NBA 2K15

Okay, so you are probably thinking that it's just another iteration of a sport sim like FIFA and a bunch of other sport association acronyms. Newer graphics, updated roster - how does anyone lose sleep over this? Well, I was actually thinking the same thing, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Recall those old goose bump inducing movies about a no-name trying to make their way into some sort of super star? How about those cheesy WWE rivalry stories that kept you playing way past your bedtime on your PS2?
If you answered No then you didn't have an awesome childhood (jk) :p. If yes, NBA2K15's myCareer mode will resurrect all those awesome childhood memories.

The mycareer mode feels like a sport RPG. Mold a character to your likeness, choose and upgrade his stats then take it to the court! Make own story with fully voiced dialogue wheels with real voice from NBA stars. How I play will affects how my Coach, GM and team mates react. I even got ejected from a game because I bad mouthed the ref!

Gameplay is fluid. They really did great with the motion capture this year. Better body movement and collision detection (when playing on simulation mode). It was absolutely painful to watch how my 60kg frame got punished when trying to do a contested layup against a 100kg NBA player.

Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to try win myself a championship ring. :D

Alien: Isolation

I got this for Xbox One and must say that it's the first time in a very long time I've actually been genuinely scared playing a game.

The atmosphere of the game perfectly replicates the feel of the movie. In terms of gameplay, it's refreshing to play a game where I am not the unstoppable killing machine and instead I am being hunted by that exact thing.

The first time encountering the massive Xenomorph, my hairs stood on end. I died. Next, I successfully managed to hide before it saw me. Then I tried moving away thinking I was outside its line of sight. I died. First lesson learnt, this isn't your usual enemy AI with cone vision in its own world. It almost feels like it can sense you. I thought I was afraid.

Next, I managed to hide in a vent, and moved to get my phone. I died. The alien picked up that I had moved (via Kinect). Next, while hiding, I started whispering while waiting for it to pass. I died. The alien picked up on my speech (via Kinect). This was when I truly felt afraid. Now, every moment it's close, I physically tense up. It's a completely exhilarating experience as it's the closest I've felt to being hunted. It can hear you, see you and there's nothing I can do to stop it once it knows where you are. You're in its world and it will rip you apart faster than you realise that it's there. Every time it sees me, I try my best to escape. I try running away only to see its blade tail rip through me. I try hiding but it finds me and tears my face apart. I try distracting it and it knows better. It's terrifying. Every single encounter is a visceral experience, each successful escape feels like an achievement.

I'm 6 hours in at the moment and cannot wait to return to that world. 10/10, would die again.

Lord of the rings, shadow of
Mordor.

This is the latest game to have me hooked. The combat is really fun and I can't help running into a huge stronghold to see how many uruks I can kill before I eventually die in they all run away. The problem with this is twofold.

1. I have lots of revenge kills on my plate that need to be done. Why, because I dislike that red arrow over their heads teasing me.

2. I have made no tangible progress in the game. So today I saw people saying how they have made it halfway through the game and I'm still in the first half with nothing to my name but a long list of dead captains.

So yes it's a very addictive game, it always "please sir can I kill another captain". I already know it's gonna be my game of the year.

Now if you don't mind it's nearly home time and that means I have uruks to kill.

Update:
I'm still playing the game, I'm now busy running through the map killing all the warchiefs I've dominated so I can go on another captain killing spree.

The worse than crack cocain game

title_square.png

So i decided to give clicker heroes a try for 5 minutes to see what my clan was talking about, 5 minutes turned into 1 hour, one hour turned into 6, 6 into a day, a day turned into 3 and the addicition is still going :/. Like clockwork for the past 3 days its a case of wake up, log in to see how much gold i made, level up heroes, log out, go to work, get back from work, log in see how much gold i made, level up heroes click click click click click click......

This is game is going to be the death of my mouse, to much clicking for absolutely no reason all just to see stupid numbers like 984 QUADRILLION DAMAGE!!!

But thats what makes the game so stupidly addictive, point is to just kill mobs over and over and over and over to get gold and to level up your heroes. What makes matters worse is that its a flash game playable from anywhere :/ , with save and import function. Think cookie clicker but worse. I find myself logging in everyday just to see how much gold i have made (game still “plays” when you close your browser) Im currently on 15,371 Sextillion gold (15,371,000,000,000,000,000,000) doing 971 Quintillion damage (971,000,000,000,000,000,000) damage and only on level 110 over 2000+... Not to mention “ascending” where you start the game over from scratch but with “Ancients” (Dont ask me havnt got there yet)

Game is only on version 0.15b as of this writing, and with so many things to do already, one can only imagine how much stuff is gna be in the game before it hits version 1.0

Its gna be a LONG time before i put this down for good.

My aim is to get to 1 Vegitillion damage, that is 10^303 or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000..... 303 times

Link
- Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

Best game ever.
This silent hero stole my heart as he was slashing his way through grass to pick up gems. Instead of getting an extra life, he took mine.

My room is filled with artwork of him and I carry a picture of him in my locket so he is always close by.

I cheer every time Zelda is kidnapped because it means more alone time with Link. He understands me.

Sure he doesn't say much, but his occasional grunts and battle cries are more than enough.

Unlike everyone else who needs to communicate with words. The silence is enough for us. We have a deep relationship like that.

Humour / Bromance to victory?!?!?!
