@DC I did download the Beta drivers. It didn't make much of a diff. Maybe all the weird stuttering is because of the lag and packet loss issues.

My rig is running the beta fine.
2700k at 4.5GHz and a 670 2GB averaging roughly 65 fps.
If you're having lag issues, try moving the network slider over to 30% and disabling VoIP. For framerate problems, up the resolution to 100% or 125% and set it to borderless.

If you want, you can give adaptive vsync a try as well.

That avg is far off if your running ultra. What settings you running bud?
How are you measuring the avg mate?
Even from playing the beta I can see this game is def optimized for AMD. 7970 GHZ cards on par with GTX770's...
Although this is still a beta...So looking forward to Mantle running on this game.

Should've stated. 1080p on ultra on 32man server and running the new NVidia beta driver.
As it's a 64-bit app, most OSD programs won't run so I opened up the console and type "PerfOverlay.DrawGraph 1"
Dips into a low 40s if I'm on top of the building at C or in 64man servers.
Another thing I forgot to mention, no MSAA at all.

Lol I wish I could tank a whole mag like that... this game feels like BF3 + Black Ops 2 hitreg and speed... very fast paced the bit I played and definitely no issues with hitreg!
Did stop playing it thought because of the lag... will wait for the next update then give it another go.
Oh the Beta drivers didnt work for me, just screwed up my PC couldnt play anything else so had to uninstall it again.

Yeah I've seen those benches. I have a friend with a 670 getting similar performance. The game is in beta so everyone will yield different results. I expect things to tone down on the final release.
In the BF3 beta i was on 30 fps. Sometimes it works in your favour, sometimes it doesn't.

Yeah this is true, I do have quite a few cards to test with myself including a Asus GTX 670, so will give it a bash.
Although I think its a waste of time lol Will have to wait till after launch day to get a proper idea of performance.

Yeah exactly. I'm not paying attention to my performance right now. Just providing a few tips cos they helped me.
Right now I'm checking out the gameplay and I like what I see.
-your player actually feels heavy
-getting shot is fantastic. it's like you feel each hit
-that sound engine. great placement audio especially on some proper headphones
-swimming has been greatly improved. when you jump in the water, you actually dip down underneath instead of automatically floating on top
-climbing ladders is an improvement
-I like the new knifing and counter knifing

Well I am stuck between BF4 and Ghosts, I have decided I won't be getting both xD Although I will most likely get BF4 free with my R290X I'm still not sure whether I'll keep it and get ghosts..
I've been seeing people say the game feels faster...If this is true then I am most likely getting BF4.
My biggest issue with Bf3 was the piss poor hit reg and the slow game play.

Agreed with the hit reg issues.
Still some issues in the beta but it isn't as bad/obvious. Anxious to see the final product.

Well right now there isn't a game I can't play at Max or close to Max but I think the R9 290X is just gonna be in a different league.

Nope, no 670 there for me. Just looking at maximizing my performance at 1080p while future proofing at the same time.
So, who is this mystery seller you know...
