Official Battlefield 4 Thread

Well I'm going to try it, more for the single player campaign. Don't feel like getting fragged a bazillion times in multiplayer just yet.

Download will take me about four days, downloading offpeak on a 2mbps line via Origin.

Single player will not give you any feelings as to what to expect in Multilayer.
 
Neebs would make me quit the game, drive over to his place and beat him straight into a coma..looool
The stuff that gets into his mind though... :D ...river/ocean of medicine... pfffffft :D :D :D

 
Updated vid on the new jungle map. I wonder how (if at all?) the massive jungle will effect system performance...

Anyone else having Battlelog Plug in issues. I don't think the plug in is installing properly.

UPDATE: Chrome does not support the plug in anymore. OMFW!

So played the CTE new map and it's nice there is a shite load of cover but one thing that irks me i that there are way to many places for vhiecles to get stuck and make them useless i would round out the map a little more so that you don't have that much useless armor laying around when it gets stuck in stupid places. Overall i like the map i think it's gonna serve as fun specially if the temple part will be the part they use for CQ/TDM
 
Havent played much for a while, almost any game for that matter. Played some tonight, but have to say, I dont like the DM gametype in BF4 much, prefer the big ass conquest games.

I for one like tdm maps but i would love if they bring back some of the Close Quarters maps from BF3 i loved Scrap Metal, Also Dark you can add me on origin AlienTaker.

Gonna play some more CTE tomorrow and will post some screen shots if i can.
 
I must say, I bought the game a few weeks back, and have put in about 24 hours online. It's a lot of fun. It feels just like the good old BF2 days. I like the mixture of small maps and large maps. And a 64 player server on a smallish map does get pretty chaotic. There's a good spirit on many of the SA servers as well, and from what I've seen there isn't a lot of blatant cheating. I'm still learning though (only last night did I discover you can set the range on the sniper rifles... I kept aiming far above the heads of my targets making it quite hard lol).

I haven't had this much FPS fun in a long while.
 
Cheaters, just watch Jaco and AlienTaker, they bribe the server admins to cheat on the servers.... :D

The TDM games, atleast the open ones on conquest maps, I dont like, its like you can be attacked from any direction and I have the reflexes of a sloth. Smaller maps, like the one on the ship, and the mountain one, they are fun though. But my big love is 64 player conquest.

Cant wait for the new forest map!
 
Yesterday for no reason I will really in the mood for a match or 2.
So, I did all the necessary chores when installing and copying over of files in spite of what I had previously said. I really enjoyed playing again. :)
