They haven't let me down yet and I just got an Email from stating that its on its way :D
So I'll def have it today, my biggest gripe with Digital only is having to DL massive games, most people have a 1mb/2mb line...It'll take a week to dl 24.8GB xD Also Origin is known to get half way through a dl and then crash, then you restart the dl and it starts all over again.

Not everyone has 4mb+ lines and not everyone is willing to leave their PC's on that long unattended on slower lines, sounds silly but that's how it is. Basically games are getting bigger faster than our line upgrades. In places like US and UK this is a different story completely. This is coming from someone who has been getting his games digitally (where possible) since Steam's 2003 release (but actually around 2005 TBH).

This game is after all 24GB's. Many people would rather use their line for gaming during that time than being idle and trying to finish the download in time. Sometimes it's easier just to get a physical copy if you are on 1mb/2mb.

1Mbps line myself, but I have good clan mates who helped me out...
 
I'll go pick up my shortly, I hope they open at 9, come back install and I should be ready to play some awesomeness after I get back from the driving range...


....if I had to d/l I would be able to play way, way later in week - I think
 
Anyone else finding the 'Server Refresh' button not working?

I have to manually refresh my page if I want to refresh the list.
 
lol, there is always a patch

but shouldn't be more than 20min to d/l - I hope

but I did forget that the game comes with 3 or 4 discs so I can't just start the install and leave :(
 
Can't wait to get mine this afternoon :D too bad my wife wants weekend time cos i've been away from home last 4 days :p

No, but except for the star to the left of the server name, try to find it to favorite a server when looking at it's details like in BF3...
 
was like 7th in queue at northgate btgames (saw CoD ghosts being delivered), and busy installing disc 1...

...could it not be sunny outside, so I don't feel bad spending my day off (and probably w'end) in front of the pc
 
Game is unplayable for me. Well the campaign at least, haven't tried multiplayer. I get constant crashes with the message "BF4 has stopped working".

Whats your PC specs?

Reinstalling drivers fixed my problem,had to manually uninstall them completely in safemode and then install the new drivers after a restart.
 
Specs:
-i7 3770K
-Msi Mpower MB
-Gtx 670 SLi
-16Gb GSkill Ram
-128gb SSD
-Windows 8.1 64bit
-GFX driver 331.65

When the game is running there is no problems, runs like a dream. But it crashes every now then at least 3-4 times per level.

Was so close to getting it, apparently servers are crashing left right and center at the moment and flushing stats?
