Official Battlefield 4 Thread

The most useful one and one that I've been using since release is the revival one.

Pressing E over a dead body to instantly switch to your defibs and revive them is awesome. No more key mapping on my mouse anymore.

as for the Umax m5k, its shooting at 590 rpm so its super acurate

Tried the LSAT, that was fine. The pkp I felt like I had jelly for arms and that when I fired shots I swing them all over the place. Unlocked the RPK last night, it was my favourite from BF3. seems like it handles like the U100 Mk5.
 
Does anyone else get random game stuttering during a match and if so did you manage to fix it? I don't know how many times this has gotten me killed...
 
You mean where you system sort of hangs for a second of 5? If so, then yes, I get that....and then when the game starts again, I'm dead. Can sometimes hear the shots that kill me. I'm blaming that for my poor kill / death ratio.... :D

Exactly that. One recommendation I found is to install the DX executable that is in the BF4 folder, will have to test that tonight.

Yeah, I get the same. I blame my barely minimum CPU for that. Also happens when I turn too quickly.

i had that a lot last night, game would stutter and then just "jam" and i would have to go to task manager to exit the game. happened about 4 or 5 times last night.... dont know what the cause is though as it cant be my gpu as i have set the settings on low

I had some crazy stuttering last night as well. Sigh. Even had some texture flickering on that Hanoi map. I'm not sure now whether it's the NVIDIA drivers that's buggy, or if it's the game that needs another patch.

you know my nvidia driver program thingy asked to update last night before i started playing.... i wonder if it isnt maybe that that caused the stuttering as my bf4 was fine before that
 
Just to clarify on my specs, i5 3570k, Radeon HD7850 @1050Mhz and 8GB Ram so I shouldn't be lagging at all. Sometimes the game will spike where for 10 seconds it's completely frozen, at one point last night I had to end the game process because it wouldn't unfreeze.

Hopefully the directx tip works out.
 
I find that some days I can play with no lag and other days there are plenty, behaves like a female really, last night I had little lag but 2 crashes....
