Is it now impossible to buy DLC's separately? I wanted to know the price of China rising, but Origin is telling me to buy Premium, which I won't buy as by March next year I would have lost interest in BF4.

I really hope not, as honestly some of the DLC's die out quickly. By the end of BF3 I was only playing the vanilla maps anyway...which really made premium seem like a waste. This time I bought the Deluxe edition including China Rising, and I was planning on making a decision after about a month of the DLC being out, by that time its sticking power would've been determined and the fad of having new maps would've died off. If they now force us to buy premium I'll be pissed.

I bought Close Quarters as it was the first DLC and it was pretty popular mostly TDM and Rush (and I just wanted the weapons). After about a month after it launched it was back to Vanilla BF3. I stopped playing about 9 months after BF3 was launched, I hit a wall of monotonousness, and do not see any more reason to play once I have unlocked all the kits and had 5 Service Stars on them all.

Doubt any of the DLC's will last long anyway, as they would have to make extra servers with different map rotations for people that do and do not have the DLC's.

Why EA does not sell the maps and unlocks separately? Instead of throwing it into a useless DLC package. I would pay $1.99 for a MP7 because I would use it. not $19.99 for a MP7, and extra's I will never use.

Close quarters where about the 3rd/4th DLC. Never played it much, felt too much like COD in my opinion, but we had some epic clannies while playing it, should have heard us on TS! Pity the Armored Assault never really took off. I still have a bunch of assignments to unlock there.

We are both Incorrect.

B2K was the first, but I never counted it as it was a part of my BF3 Deluxe edition.
Close Quarters was second.
Armored Kill, third
Aftermath, Fourth
Finally End Game.

Is'nt premium alone the cost of Battlefield 4? I would never consider it, all you get is DLC's (which hardly anyone will play) and aesthetic items of no real value.

Well if you count up the cost of all the DLC's then they cost more the Premium.

BTW Titan-Ice swoped out my XTD,can't wait to get home.

I got BF3 premium when it was launched and to me it was worth it the expansion i played most though was CQ

I love those maps Scrap metal is my Favorite.

I might be getting my premium at the end of this month but i might put it off a month seeing as i got the deluxe so i'm already getting the first expansion
 
I love d the ump 45 in BF3 it's my second best weapon, Glordit still waiting for you to answer me on the Shotguns :p

I want to use the spas and is the Mk3A1 in there :D

MK3A1, I never really used as I could never unlock it, SPAS12 was OP with Slugs (Most shotguns in BF3 where OP with slugs). Shotguns in BF4 are a little weird with their damage stats.

The starer shotgun QBS-09 is pretty decent (2 Service Stars so far) it suffers a little with only 6 shots before you have to reload, you can rack up some awesome kills streaks in crowded areas. Strangely out of all the shotguns it and the HAWK have the highest damage, with 95.

HAWK12, SPAS12, 870MCS and UTS-15 are all pump actions so 10m or closer chest/face will equal a kill, any further and it's a gamble putting in 2 or 3 shots to kill (2-3 with 00 buck, 3-4 with flechette 2 with slugs).

SAIGA and M1014 are basically the same, SAIGA for me gives less recoil, and has 5 points more in accuracy, also it has a mag so quicker reloads.

DBV-12 I still have to unlock but it seems to be similar to the SAIGA (from using it in SP)

00 Buck: Awesome at close range
Flechette: Good for Close to medium range (won't get as many kills)
Slugs: Aim well and score some *BS* kills.
FRAG: Useless after the fiasco in BF3, still helpful if you want to suppress people, I have got a few kills with it but it seems they only do about 20-30 damage a round.

What I really want is the DAO-12! :D

I loved the dao-12 it's an awesome shottie but from what lvl do you unlock the shotties i'm lvl 15 now but have no shotguns unlocked yet.
And i killed myself so many times with frag rounds :(

You should have the QBS-09 by default in your loadout.
Shotguns... Like every other weapon you have to use to unlock them. It's the MOST RETARDED unlock system ever. I love it and hate it at the same time. Unlike BF3 where shoguns were unlocked with ranks, now you are forced to use it (thankfully you can stick to one and keep using it until you unlock one you like).
