The digital deluxe edition gave you a slight discount on China Rising.

A lot of people have been complaining about not receiving CR yet and frankly, you all knew the perks of Premium. That's one of the many benefits of buying it.
 
Yeah, its a perk thats got positives and negatives. Positive means you'll have the game 2 weeks before the rest, but then, the servers might not be as populated in those two weeks until non premium members get it. if you can afford it, Premium is great, you pay a once of fee for the next 2 years worth of extra content.

I had premium in BF3 and will get it as soon as I can afford it in BF4. I ordered BF4 Pre Order Ed from CNA with the CR DLC but received no code, the CNA guy here is trying to help me.
 
Well I caved and got Premium this morning, BF4 has its fair share of bugs but its a game I am starting to enjoy more and more.
 
I hope so, he hasn't said anything about that. According to him the code should have been in the package. I know I wont be able to play it now, thats obvious since I am not a premium member.
 
I checked with battlelog and apparently I already own China Rising? Even though I did not purchase premium or the Pre-order edition. Oh well! It will last for about a month and will die down again. Really should have a better business model.

After every 2 DLC's make a few maps from the first one free, otherwise you start to fragment the community. B2K was popular but soon after the other DLC's launched people stopped playing them.

Also do yourself a favour, play the campaign (it's really REALLY REEEEEALY BAD) but just do it to get the M249, best LMG so far (after using the U-100 MK5 and Type 88.

Hey Guys,

I bought Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe edition on black Friday. Downloaded the game, installed it, but it keeps on initializing forever and ever. I've tried reinstalling the game, Origin, PB, Direct X, just about everything, but the game just won't launch.

My system specs:

Intel 3570K Stock clocks
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H-WB
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866
MSI TF GTX 570
120GB Adata SSD
Corsair HX750 PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate
Firefox 26.0

Have any of you had the same problem?

Is this when you join the server or can't you even load Battlelog?

BattleLog opens and I can navigate all the pages just fine. The only problem is that the game won't launch. If I try to join a server, the blue bar pops up, and nothing happens. The same with Campaign and Test Range.

I've added the exceptions in my firewall for Origin, BF4, PB, and the Activation UI. I've uninstalled the BattleLog plugin, installed Chrome, installed the plugin again, tried launching the game again. Reached the same dead end.

How did you reinstall PunkBuster? I've heard that PB in most cases are causing these issues.
 
What mode would you guys say is the best for noobs? Last night I tried TDM and got my ass kicked 1 - 12.

Then I joined a server where the two teams just sat around taking turns arming and disarming bombs without shooting at each other. That seemed like a really lame way to level up so I left.
 
Uninstall in Control Panel, deleting the installation directory afterwards, and installing again from the PB folder in Origin Games. Checked my firewall and all the necessary exceptions for PB has been added. I don't have a anti-virus installed, so that can not be a problem.

I don't have any funny software installed that can cause this mash-up. I know somebody uninstalled their Logitech gaming headphone software and his game launched. I checked my computer, and I've got nothing funny like that.

I'm gonna try a clean install tonight on my gaming machine. Just windows, drivers and Battlefield. Feels so unnecessary, but it is worth a try. Not feeling any excitement to this game anymore. Thanks for trying to help me!

you should play on servers where you have to capture points(conquest i think). you get a lot of score there and also try to play on servers that play Operation Locker. you can level up quite quickly there as it is a smallish map.

i have found the guys playing on Skop,skiet en donner (not sure on spelling of server name) are on a skill level where i can compete as i am not that good in the game. also there is a server called SAMW Clan server(they play only operation locker) and the guys there also seem to be on my skill level(ie noob level)

Yeah I agree, play conquest where you can virtually play at your own pace. If you want to play hard and fast you can, if you would rather play slowly and steady, then you can too. Dont play any fast paced modes like Domination or TDM where people can come from virtually anywhere.
