Some great points mentioned here, Glordit.

I prefer playing Assault with the AEK and running with a Support squadmate.

I've got the AEK controlled to almost zero recoil and at 900 RPM, it's deadly.

Next Challenge the FAMAS. 1000 RPM is just too much, maybe to clear a tight corner or room but I never see it being used.

The FAMAS isn't even good for medium range burst fire.

I have only used it for domination rounds in Flood Zone and Operation Locker. Otherwise the AEK is my gun of choice.

I think I'm on 16 service stars so far.

I switch up too much will all my weapons to get more than one service star on them, currently have a liking for DMR's SKS, SVD and ACE 53 SV.
 
I made sure to get a service star in every kit so far (assault, engineer, support and recon).

Busy getting everything with vehicles as well now, but these are my top 3 weapons:

M1911 pretty beast but I prefer Compact 45 just for looks,actually I prefer most of my guns just for looks.
If it feels well it plays well right.

BRING IT, COME AT ME BRO!

Awesome come play on the metr- Locker server for a bit, enable a 200% XP boost and have fun!

In all honesty, I despise people that play for KDR (Kill Death Ratio), BF is more about PTFO (Play The F~king Objective) you will see people with negative KDR's yet they are in the top 5 players because they revive, drop ammo, spot targets, stick with their team and have situational awareness.

It is better to not engage in combat, if you are uncertain of the outcome, than rush blindly into it and come off second best because you got ambushed by piet and his 3 must be queers.

Some protips for you:​
Support: Drop Ammo at choke points, Bipods are so useful drop it onto a floor or low wall just behind cover and you can fire (up to) 200 rounds with in a 60cm radius. XM25 Airburst is a beast for taking out snipers and people behind cover.

Recon: Being Recon does not mean you have to use a Marksman Rifle, equip a DRM or Carbine and be on the front lines, Use your T-UGS and Motion Sensor to spot enemies and keep tabs on their movement (MS has a 1 time use where the T-UGS is plated and can be picked up).

Assault: Drop Health and Revive not much else.

Engineer: Very useful in maps with Tanks and Choppers. Hop into a passenger seat of a chopper and keep repairing, you'll earn unlocks for that specific vehicle too, regardless if you are getting kills or not.

Support and Recon are probably the easiest classes to get points on, I have about 5 Service Stars on those two alone.

Weapons:​

DMR:
Work through the first two, to unlock the SKS. It is a beast, with a 3.4X scope you can put 3 shots on someones head in 2 seconds and with almost zero recoil, your follow up shots and just as accurate.
Sniper Rifles: They are all about the same, find the one you like and use it.
Shotguns: QBS (Starter shotgun) is packs quite a punch being semi-auto, play with it till you unlock chokes and you'll be getting some nice kill streaks.
Assault Rifles:The AK-12m AUG-A3 and SAR-21 (Specially the SAR-21) are the best guns in game. IMHO. SAR-12 has insane accuracy and with a 600 RPM rate of fire it is super stable.
PDW: Have not played much with the PDW's unlocked the PDW-R and have not played any more with them, PP-2000 seems to be the most balanced of them all (so far).
LMG: U-100 MK5, Type88 and M249 are very stable for hip and aimed fire. Equipe a bipod and send down 200 hundred rounds into a doorway or choke point and watch the kills stack up.
Carbines: Almost all of them are extremely easy to use, minus the M4 and ACW-R

Grenades: V40 Mini. All the way. Lighter and has a smaller blast radius but it can be tossed almost 3 times the distance of the normal M67 Frag.

some wicked tips there, will updating my loadout and be online later in the afternoon to test this out

I tested this theory by switching to it mid game ?
Any ideas ?
 
Grr... so I still crash on "siege of shanghai" map even after the update.

On another note, it is nice to have sound on the train map. :D

@venom, BF4 is telling you to try out other weapons :rolleyes:

Use the FAMAS! It destroys on Op Locker :D
 
Game still doesn't like overclocked pc's.
My main rig is stable at 4.5Ghz on everything imaginable, then I launch BF4 and 5 minutes in...Boom crash...lol
Remove the oc and it runs perfect for hours...xD

That's a pity.

I've got mine stable at 4.5GHz as well and I don't get crashes.

Maybe try upping your voltage but keep it at 4.5GHz to see if it helps.

Not voltage related mate.
Its def the game, think it doesn't like Haswell cpu's that are overclocked.

Heard that the idirect fire perk on support causes some people to crash.

SRR-61 is the most OP Rifle, I can't use anything else, it feels 'weak'. With a straigh pull bolt, and variable zoom it can't be matched.

Other than that slowing down on BF4 once you unlock everything you loose interest somewhat, I dont play as much as I used to even though I have a lot more free time.

-Fixed broken collision on containers with open doors. The bug previously made grenades bounce back even though the doors were open.
-Fixed a bug in Defuse mode where defenders could win the round by killing all the attackers without disarming the bomb, if the bomb was disarmed in the previous round.
-Miscellaneous stability fixes further reducing the number of client crashes
-Fixed side gunner jitter when aiming in attack boats & transport helicopters
-Fixed some instances of frame rate drops when shooting at large Levolution objects after they have been destroyed (like the radar dish on Rogue Transmission)
-Fixed broken aiming for passengers on the China Rising dirt bike
-Fixed a bug where the sound when capturing a flag was not playing correctly
-Removed a bug that would double save during MP round transition and SP level transition. This fix will reduce the occurrence of corrupted save files.

Server Side:
R15 Server Update Notes
-Various server side crash fixes, including the top seen crashes on R14
-Activated the reservedSlotsList.aggressiveJoin command that enables VIP players and server administrators directly joining full servers
-Client patch compatibility to make servers compatible with the Dec 09 client update

What was the cause of that bug?

Yet still no client/server side hit reg. Also F~ YOU Origin for not updating my Battlefield Automatically.
