Official Battlefield 4 Thread

Would you guys say that a single AMD R9 290X would be faster in BF4 @ 2560x1440 res, than say 2x GTX580's 1.5GB in SLi? I can play the game with high settings, but the minute I move to "ultra" for most things (especially texture quality) the cards have a way of chocking at that resolution. I can't blame them. Gaming at 1440p with 1.5GB of VRAM is asking a lot.

So I'm playing on the SAWH HC Clan Server when the guys in my team start giving in orders in afrikaans.

I ask them if they can speak english cos I don't understand afrikaans and they start calling me sout piel and other crap. Now I'm banned cos I told them to stop being cunts.

I think either they are sponsored by wootware or the server is, just send wootware an email and explain to them what happened.

I'm a afrikaans person and i feel ashamed on their behalf. That's no way to treat someone else who isn't afrikaans and i'll bet the only reason they called you that is because its a bunch of "brasse" and they are trying to be cool in front of their buds. You should really try and get in contact with wootware.
 
If it's definitely run by WootWare I'll pop them an email now.

And yeah, it seems to be about 3/4 guys cos one said it and others kind of chanted him on.

Common, tappit Afrikaners strike again. Hopefully they can get into their bakkies and bliksem off a tall cliff. Sorry mate, I also apologize on behalf of the (very few) decent Afrikaans speaking people out there.
 
Hey ons is nie almal die selde nie (al skreeu ek vi di Bulle) don't put us all in the same loaf of sliced bread guys. In all this is now the third complaint about that server in this threads last 4 pages and i really think wootware should be contacted about this Ducky it is def sponsored by wootware if you look at the loading screen it's stated there so contact them and maybe we can get them to change it to a my gaming server :D
 
Ja ek stem, ek steek maar my kop in skaamte weg soms as ek sien hou hulle aangaan, but as AlienTaker said, we all arent like those idjits. I get annoyed with these rage kiddies with self-esteem issue in game.
 
Okay - so, I don't know what's going on with BF4 but I had a pretty crappy game last night on the MWEB Olifant server. We were playing parcel storm and I had these weird little lag spikes throughout the sessions (I have a 9ms latency to the server). My shotgun was doing no damage (apparently. But I have heard that shotties have been nerfed. I didn't expect it to be that much though). And in general hit registration seemed completely stuffed.

Did the last patch completely obliterate the game??
 
Really digging the new platoons, and ranking up as a platoon especially. Really encourages team play, and its breathed new life into the small group of friends I play with.

Although I also fear it'll promote stacking, lol

We are not currently a sponsor of the SAWH BF4 server, or have we ever been. If this is being advertised anywhere, please let us know where you saw it.

We do fully support all SA gamers and the SA gaming community; we are a part of it as well! My advice to you is to try build up a small group of online friends you know well and enjoy playing with who you can team up with, to minimize the chances of having to play with players that ruin the experience. Personally I just mute rude players, or I will leave the game.
