Official Call of Duty: Black Ops II Thread

Net so klein bietjie te lui om die res van die thread te lees. So Plaster, wat's die latest verdict?

Is there dedicated servers now or what? I'm almost 100% hesitant to get this game....really don't know whether it's going to be a waste of R500 again, just like Black Ops 1. Meh.. R500?!
 
Game is good, can do with a server browser to make life easier. Only thing i find annoying is the sound. Nades and guns sound amazing, enemy footsteps not so much. Guy can run up behind you and you hear absolutely jack. Or maybe i'm just going deaf. But since i'm noty the only one that has mentioned it, i'm prepared to go with the former.

So no server browser ey? Well... that pretty much sucks a fat one, doesn't it? It's still peer-to-peer? -_- Or does it create a game on a server when you "host" a game?

Yeah now server browser and yes still P2P but they have made changes so not as Laggy as MW2 and MW3. Only down side joining on your friends only to be told server is full. I dont see why they just couldn't have added a server browser from the get go.

Apart from all of the above and my issue with enemy sound, i'm loving it, and really loved double xp weekend

Hmm... maybe I will download it from the Promotion Bay first, then see how if it's worth the money.

So far from gameplay it doesn't rally look worth R400,going to wait and see if the price drops or if activision is going to add some money sucking features (like elite).If it's the latter then i'm going to drop it all together.
 
How is Elite a money sucking feature? Firstly it's free with BLOPS2 (on 360 and PS3 of course), secondly even before they did that, you could still use most of the features for free, you only paid if you basically wanted the season pass. So nothing really would change. Nothing different from BattleLog and Premium in BF3.

Tooken. Daar is nie 'n Server Browser nie ongelukkig nie, dit werk met die lobby system ect, maar die games hardloop op dedicated servers, daar is so paar issues wat @PCDev confirm het met Matchmaking in sekere regions, waaraan hulle werk. Maar all in all is dit een van die beter CODs wat release is in die laaste paar jaar. Ek het baie gehad die naweek, die bietjie wat ek gespeel het al. Alles behalwe vir Matchmaking issues hier en daar sal ek die game definitief aanbeveel.

Nie P2P nie, dit lyk so, maar run op Dedi's in die background. Ek het jou verpletter die naweek... jy en jou ander SS buddy was paar rondtes teen my ;)
