You can't really do nightfall with a level 28. And the house of wolves quest line only rewards you with the pistol legendary, no armor to help increase your light level.

POE and weekly is your best bet at getting strange coins then buying exotics. Once you are higher level you can do the nightfalls and so on.

Aah that's right, my bad.

Next big step and what I struggle with is getting 5 other peeps to do the raids. Was actually trying VoG on hard last night, but only starting at close to midnight isn't the way to go, I unfortunately had to bail. Hate doing these kinda things with randoms though.
 
Yeah with 7 strange coins and about 12 strike playlits thats another 2 pieces of armour. Also saw xur selling legendary items for 21 motes of light last week. So that could be a 3rd piece cause i have like 20. But yeah, can never find people to run strikes with over and over.

The ones Xur sells for Motes of Light are exotic engrams, it's a roll of the die with that I'm afraid. All the times I've bought that I have received armor for other classes, and never the class I was using at that time. Which is also why I started my second character, to make use of that exotic helm for my Hunter. You'll be better saving up a little more Strange Coins and buying for your specific class (he sells one item for each class every week). But then again Motes are easy to come by, so take a roll of the dice and see what you get ;)

I know... it's the sad truth. I think Danny O'Dwyer sums it up perfectly though with his video on Destiny and it being the "Hardcore Gamers Slot Machine" - dunno if you saw that, but very good!

I stil find the gun-play so brilliant and fun, that's what keeps me coming back, and the social aspects of it. Helping people and friends and just having fun while playing and having a lolz.

 
Oh, and I think there's a problem with a trophy.

I have fully upgraded my exotic Hawkmoon with an exotic shard and the trophy didn't pop! So pissed! :mad:
Gonna have to try again with my Ice Breaker, almost there, and see if I get the trophy this time.
 
So looks like loadshedding is going to hit from 8-8:30. Cape town said it will stop that shit at 8:30, so if you chaps are still online then, i will join you

Might make it on at 7 till 8

That's perfect, I agree completely with those patch notes. Those adjustments are needed. Especially in PvP as this should add a bit more diversity. In PvE this should make Auto Rifles more used along with Fusion.

I'm looking forward to it to be frank.

Thank god about thorn. I have not played a lot of pvp, but i hate it already.

Lucky that you go it from that chest. First time I opened it I got a Truth, my third one.
 
Xur's items this week:

Titan - Helm of Inmost Light
Hunter - Celestial Nighthawk
Warlock - Sunbreakers

Talentloos you can buy the Titan helm, should buff your level. Anyone else should get Celestial Nighthawk, insanely good helmet for Hunter Gunslingers.

Need to check the stats on the Inmost Light though, not too familiar with it.
 
Yeah with the helm and 8 more strike of 6 vanguard marks i can hit level 31 tonight and then level 32 next week after the reset. Slowly but surely man.

I have never done this much maths in a video game before.
