Multiplayer isn't really very important in this game. As long as you have some friends and you can form a wing it doesn't really matter if there are other "human players" in the galaxy as you will be interacting with AI most of the time. Due to the sheer size of the galaxy the likelihood of you regularly encountering other humans is anyway very low, unless you go into areas where humans tend to congregate.

No cross platform play. No Mygaming group as far as I Know.

No, no cross-platform per sê, but the world is cross-influenced. Things like the markets and server side statistics etc.

DLC, or rather more accurately it is titled as a season's pass. You get 1 year's worth of DLC updates. Currently this includes non-atmospheric planets and moons.

Unfortunately it is not part of the base game. But all the ships are, except for the Cobra MKIV as far as I know.
