Afrikaans proverb: "Agterosse kom ook in die kraal"

Getting there (too) slowly...

Heck. You have the patience of a saint mate. I would have given up by now, and gone to find a physical copy.

Why is your d/l speed and peak so low anyway? Surely you should be getting a little better than that, even on your 2MB line? Or are you already over your cap and being soft-cap throttled?

It's normally around 245KB/s, could be because of my RDP session into my PC to check the progress or Couch Potato doing its thing on the Media PC.

The last physical game I bought was BF3 when it launched. I'm over collecting discs, I have 4 Paper boxes just with DVD type games and a further 2 with old games in CD Jewel cases. I'm over hoarding physical games or images on discs. Cloud is the way to go... Besides, it will take less space in the container if/when we migrate.

EDIT: Nope, not throttled yet...

ps. Mweb has us on 4Mb but line rental is only on 2Mbps, unfortunately, I'm not the owner of the line, so I can't increase it but it is my Mweb account.

I'll jam with you, unfortunately I don't have a mic currently, hopefully by the end of March or April I will be able to get a cheap bluetooth headset.

EDIT: 5.5GB to go!!!

Any time! I really want as many ZA players to join me on this or "The Division" :)

PythonFSi - how's your travels and experiences been thus far?

Yikes man. Going slow but thats just because I'm concentrating mostly on HZD.

I think my biggest mistake was comparing the game to The Division. It certainly not a cover-based shooter but just what the title of the game implies . . . reconnaissance, so I'm enjoying it far more now though.

I'll admit the game world is what has me intrigued here. If there's one thing Ubisoft does well is world design. The world and exploration factor really has an appeal here for me.

How do you play or rather what is your play style? Solo or randoms, ghost or balls to the wall etc?

I'm a pedantic solo sneaky ghost with a sniper rifle. Got a fair few hours in it already and have finished only the first main mission. Loving the world and driving around looking for random intel files, supply crates and the like. Spent more time on a single side mission than anything else - probably tried it 5 times already. I'm bloody determined to make sure that cartel lieutenant does not take off with the supply helicopter I need to tag for the rebels.

Mostly solo, I haven't really bothered teaming up yet as for game play, bit of both, stealth and if that doesn't work out, its balls to the wall. :D
