Sorry,was on vacation and games i don't play for 1week get added to an ''old games'' folder automatically.Pulled out all the regulars and forgot about MWO.

I'll be happy to join you guys,currently i have a Cataphract CTF2X.

Na it's fixed now. If you're pugging, you get matched against other pugs. The odd occasion you might get matched against a 4 man pre-made (that's the limit now, otherwise it's 8 vs 8 premade). But then you have a 4 man premade on your side as well.

It's really awesome. You won't be disappointed. The learning curve in the beginning is not that hard. Most of my mates quit as they're too dumb to understand how to group weapons properly and overheat.
 
Well i played 14 rounds,won the first one and lost the rest.How does a single mech chew through 60 armor in one strike?

A lot has changed since you last played. Boating PPC's are the name of the game at the moment.

Machine guns are still terrible.

You should switch to AC/2's and chain fire. If your mouse supports macro function, you can run a mean fire sequence akin to an Anti Aircraft gun :)

Yeah i saw a vid of a guy using 6x AC/2 with very little armor and allot of heat buildup.chews through ammo though.

What macro sequence can you make for 6x AC/2's?

Do you have any tips Kuga?

So far i'm running the trail LaserBack behind an Atlas or other Assault mech to provide damage support,i usually fire my Alpha where the enemy took the most damage.

Almost have 5Mil,have to save up to 8Mil so i can buy the JM-DD.

The Twin AC/20 seem quite dangerous.

I keep hearing on the forums not to use the Guess because it was nerfed,what part of it was nerfed?

You'd need to run a macro that hits buttons 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 every 0.05 seconds.

Then assign each AC/2 to a single group. Run macro and laugh to victory

I dunno man, I've always played Assault and Heavy class mechs.

I've got the Catapult, Stalker and Atlas master unlocked. Bought a Raven 3L for the lulz.

Yeah the Gauss got nerfed with hitpoints. They tend to die more frequently now. If you do use a Gauss, make sure you have C.A.S.E equipped in the same area as well.

The Jager DD is very nice. Seen builds that run 2 x AC20 and 2 x ML. They tend to hang back and then pounce when there's weakened enemy mechs, to totally rip them a new one.

I've never like the hunchies, right from day 1. Their arm and torso movement doesn't move smoothly enough for me.

As you saw in the video I made, Stalker 3F with 4 x PPC is just awesome. Gonna be making an Atlas video soon. Awesome brawling mech that.

I'm playing Mechwarrior because i can cram tons of weapons into a mech and tactically blow my load on an enemy mech.


On another note i wasn't aware people still play Hawken,it looks more like a FPS game then a mech game.

How much customization is in Hawken?

I started playing now again after they went open beta

it basically is a Mech RPG-FPS, bit more fast paced than MW

as for customization, you have quite a lot. weapons, camo, drones, shield, heatsinks and more. even body parts

I have an Atlas LRM Boat, Atlas Brawler, Stalker LRM Boat, Stalker PPC Sniper (As seen in the video)

You have to pick your fights carefully. Generally 1v1, I win.

My next video will be of the Atlas Brawler. I recently upgraded to 2 x 680's in SLI. When using Fraps to record, my FPS never goes below 60 and is butter smooth. Hopefully this will give me better video results.

I played Hawken when it was in closed Beta. Didn't like it. It's basically COD with mechs, whereas MWO is Arma with mechs.

Anyone from SA still playing this? Seems the thread is dead :( Joined a US/UK clan, few SAFFERS are playing with some foreigners, it's a lot of fun.
