Well the NDA was finally lifted and open Beta will be coming out soon,i had the last thread locked due to the NDA.

Anyway if anyone is in the MWO Beta then feel free to put your name down and it will be added Below.

I already know a few MyG players in the Beta but i don't want to add their names without their permission.

Below here will be a few helpful tips and programs for new and experienced players alike:

(You need to be logged in to the forum to look at most of the tips)

Weapon Groups -Important,you can also press backspace on a weapon group to switch it to chain fire.

Java Mech lab -This is a small Java program that lets you outfit and check out mechs before you buy them in-game.It also has a few other useful features like weapon damage.

Target Designation Explained -Helpful tips that tell you what to look for on your active target,look at one of the red upside down triangles and press R to make it your active target (it will have a box around it when it's active)

Playing with Groups and friends - We have players all over the world playing together,you can join a group on the TeamSpeak IP: 109.228.29.191 ,anyone who is in MWO can PM me for the password.


Tips for newbies -A few basic tips for new players.

I must admit, the games looks pretty amazing at the moment.
Is the Kodak,Timberwolf etc all there?

Not yet,they are slowly adding mechs.

So far they have the Atlas,Awesome,Catapult,Dragon,HunchBack,Centurion,Raven,Jenner and Commando.The flea is getting added in the next patch,the game gets updated every week Tuesday.

@PapaRazz!,Looks?,maybe.Is?,nope!.

They are very different games, it really depends on which style of game you prefer. MWO reminds me of World of Tanks in that it's a round-based encounter and you can win either by eliminating the enemy team or by capturing their base and you can't just go in guns blazing.

DC you can add my nick (DarthMol) - haven't actually had a chance to play again yet but I've been letting it do the updates so when I can join in I'll be ready.

I tried Hawken out as well. I uninstalled it after 30 min of gameplay. It's too fast paced.

Hawken = COD
MWO = Day Z

Best way I can put it I think.

add me dude, haven't played much due to getting ready for Rage (which didn't seem to help hahaha), but will start jamming more

same nick as on Forum :)
 
Encountered my first hacker last night,guy had 5 kills and was insulting our team and his team for being bad the entire game.funny thing is that he was just targeting the cockpit of each mech and not missing.My torso was 12points from falling off and he still targeted my head which had full armor.

We still won because our missile boat pounded him allot when i was engaging him.

Well it's going Open Beta in a week or 2 so you won't have to wait long,also everything is going to be reset when it goes open Beta so everyone can play on leveled ground except those that have founders packages will have a slight advantage.

ah, well that's not to bad. then I'll just entertain myself with DC Universe till then :D
