haha, yeah we decided to bite the bullet and just download it. the actual download is just under 17GB. It's been downloading for 3 days now...

I call BS are steam's minium specs wrong? Oh and what speed is your line if you don't mind me asking ?
 
You sure it's that large?

Mine sits at 1.75 GB and it took me little more then 4hours to download it (i had to do a clean download because i broke one of the files)

Seems like a big nice patch is coming the 23'rd.

ECM Bap,Ferro armor,endo steel and double heat sinks just to name a few i hope will be added.

You should join the UO Mechwarrior TS channel,i'll give you the Password and IP when i get home.There are allot of International players on the channel and only about 5-15 SouthAfrican players.The guys are real mature so there isn't any problems with people screaming into the mic.

People like to troll allot on the TS channel,just the other day we ran 6LRM boats with an Atlas and a Jenner for defense and spotting.I tagged an enemy Atlas and it was dropped within 2 seconds.

I tried swapping out the ML with the PPC. But I had to remove almost all my armor and died too quickly.

For long range sniping, it worked well. Just got ambushed a couple of times and died instantly.

You can keep your current engine and add some armor if you want,it doesn't need heatsinks because the engine heatsinks can compensate for the Gauss and 2 medium lasers.
 
Hey guys i tried to download the game last nyt but havent been able to join the open beta, am i doing something wrong?
