Mourinho wouldnt have gone to United

i think that he would have. there were a number of stories about his interest in taking over after Fergie left and he and Sir Alex were on very good terms. my conspiracy theory is that the old scot didn't want another strong personality at the club to challenge his authority, and hence went with a meek compatriot who would tow the line

Those are also just stories the papers make up, they make up stories that people are interested, or want, and alot of people wanted Mourinho at United, thats what people want to read.

I dont really see Jose at another english club

Mourinho wouldnt have gone to United

Actually sadly I must disagree. In the months leading up to Alex's retirement Mourinho was sweetening up Alex and MANU for a while. Had they said to him "Come to us and you will have free reign over whatever you want"; I doubt that a guy like Mourinho would have been able to resist.

I think Pep should have gone to Man U but then again he now has the unstoppable Bayern...They are the best team in Europe as far as I am concerned.

They are one of the best teams right now that I have seen in years! I can almost guarantee a Real Madrid v Bayern Munich UEFA final

Pretty certain Bayern will make the final and probably win it again. Not sure on the other team yet

They might be the first team to pull the UEFA double. I am almost certain that it shall be Madrid in the final; they have playing some exemplary football as of late. And I don't think anyone else has the capacity to deal with the Ronaldo/Benzema/Bale combo right now

Apologies for the thread necro..............oh wow Liverpool, champions do not let a 3 goal lead slip with 15mins to go!

oh mine, their fans have waited a quarter of a century for this moment....and the team stuffs it up in the space of 8 minutes. PRICELESS :D

I was cracking with laughter those last 15 when they just crumpled :D. Now i don't feel so bad about United

DITTO! oh man, i sat on the sofa after that 3rd palace goal went in, giggling like a little schoolgirl :) United had a rubbish season, but we have an excuse. The manager was a total ballsack. Next season will be infinitely better!

I don't care what people say... YNWA!!!

That being said, I am a bit depro today.

You'll Never Win Again ?

:D sorry dude, i could not help it. I been getting so much stick from my LFC buddies over Utd dismal season, it feels good to give some back. When LFC beat Man City, these guys celebrated like they had already won the league :)

I got the same thing, When Chelsea lost to Sunderland my liverpoolian mates wouldnt stop singing "We're gonna win the league, we're gonna win the league"!

Not singing so loudly anymore though

Still, I am a happy Liverpool supporter. Rogers has done a lot with the side and judging where we came from in previous years within the league.
