Old Pc's?

Hey Guys

Does anyone have an old pc they dont use anymore?

I'm looking for an old rig to build a MAME cabinet, but I think i threw out my old pc.

Basically any pc that has been made in the past 5 years should do just fine :).
 
I've got an Amd 3500 CPU, Mobo, Ram if you are interested. But the Cpu blew and it physically damaged the mobo. so I dont really have the mobo and CPU, or I do but they are not working. That leaves the ram, but I think I used it in another machine, so technically I had the ram, but I don't anymore.

I've got a first generation Celeron lying around, I think the board its on still works, although its been sitting around for ages
 
That should be able to run mame right? First generation as in the celeron that was released in 2004?
 
i have a AMD 3200+ single core socket am2 laying around

and 2 512mb sticks ddr2 667 ram
 
That specific machine wa actually used to run Mame for my Nephew way back when
 
My First PC which we got way back in 1999, had a Celeron (PII class). So no, not 2004.
But it's runnin' XP with 192MB RAM, and can even play Red Alert 2! (But you cant have it, sorry bud)

I love the sound of that.
Please update me of your progress as it is my dream to do exactly the same.
I have even been searching ebay to get the cabinet i have always wanted.
 
Will do so, bit short on cash at the moment... The dentist was bloody expensive! But will let you know....
