Olympic Rugby

It looks like it's sevens rugby Mephisto. :)

Of course, Sevens rugby is spectacular, high-scoring, fast-paced, exciting and - most importantly - easy to understand. It is a perfect gateway for all forms of rugby to enjoy growth and large international support. No doubt, Sevens and the fan culture will add a lot of character and colour to the Games.

Well if they do take Sevens to the Olympics, we may be in with a better chance of winning a medal next time.

You oke's are chops, there's plenty to watch at the olympics..I watch as much as I can - Badminton, tabletennis, swimming, sprints, high jump, gymnastics, weight lifting, rowing, diving.

Rugby will be a good addition, atleast we will have a chance of getting a medal

Yeah nothing can quite beat gymnastics or diving for me :D Swimming is entertaining sometimes.

to me the whole team-sport thing in the olympics has always been a bit of a failtrain in action. Look at those dedicated few who put their LIVES into training to be the gold medalist. Then you get some artard on your squad who stuffs up and there goes your dream (a la Cool Runnings)

Anyway - IIRC rugby used to be part of the olympics and the USA still hold the title.

You're quite right, Voicy. Time to take that medal from the Yanks.

Hmmm ... don't you recall the last USA vs RSA match durin the RWC?

Their Zimbabwe-born wing officially turned Habana into the world's 2nd fastest player :p
