Online gamers help to decipher AIDS enzyme puzzle

I read a news report about this earlier it is very interesting.

They are also planning to expand this to include other enzymes and so on.
 
Lol, The Gamers, Saving the world one game at a time XD.

But still interesting to read about the break through. Interesting way to also exploit the processing power of the world and people versus having a single expensive super computer gnawing away at the calculations of a small hand full of people. As they always say, many hands make light work.

Will be interesting to see what they come up with on the other enzimes.
 
I'm gonna admit: sorta confused about this.

I thought the whole FOldit thing was just a background process that runs calculations...
It has a whole GAME now?!
