Online specials: Steam, Greenman Gaming, GamersGate, etc

To be honest, neither of those publisher sales have appealed to me yet. Sure, there are some great games at great prices in there, but I guess I'm kinda satured with games that I won't end up playing.

Starpoint Gemini 2 is on daily deal on Steam. It's definitely worth it if you like games like Freelancer and are looking forward to Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, but need something to scratch that space exploration itch in the meantime!

Miles better than the flop that was the first one.

Standard AAA game pricing - $60 at release, but there is a limited time promotion running atm where you can buy it + the pre-order goodies for GBP35 or roughly $55

I paid GBP20 for mine.

eish.... that's a lot of ebucks

I could have sworn I saw GBP50, I coulda been thinking of Star Citizen mind you. But I'm sure Elite Dangerous is the British company?

I could never get into Infinite, played it for and hour or two and was over it.

What?! You like games with mind-bending plot twists, so you'll definitely enjoy Infinite. Seems like Hiro agrees that 2 wasn't all that (I couldn't finish it, became bored), but Infinite was superb. Story, progression and even combat was excellent. You just had to combine vigors with the correct weapons to have "infinite" fun. :p

Torchlight 2 really is an awesome game. I should perhaps play that again >.>

Spent about 40 hours playing it co-op with a friend, it is a helluva lot of fun.

Is it really all that good? I couldn't manage more than about an hour of the first Torchlight, after which I felt numb in my brain from the mindless clickathon. I guess I'm not into aRPGs anymore...
