Online specials: Steam, Greenman Gaming, GamersGate, etc

Hey guys - sorry I'm spamming my wares in our forums - but I got a spare Witcher 3 CD Key for PC - happy to let it go for R400 if anyone is interested?

Apparently there has been some huge controversy surrounding selling these keys received with the game.
I am not quite sure why though, but has been seen as piracy.
I have just read it on a few other forums. The thought being that you payed for 1 game and not 2, and the CD's and key should not be split up for some reason.
Not sure why they decided to give another key though.
Just thought I would mention it, not sure how valid it is or not.

I think he bought one copy and didn't realise he would get one with his card, and now just flogging that key. Nothing illegal about it.

Yeah yeah that is what I am talking about. Seems it wasn't meant to be sold or seen as 2 separate copies of the game.
Don't know why they would give another key if they didn't intend for it to be 2 copies of the game.

Well in all fairness, I don't think he knew or anticipated that he would have received two copies (or keys).

If he knew he would have received one with the graphics card, maybe he wouldn't have bought it. Or maybe he wanted the Collectors edition. Meh... who knows.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with him selling it, I just think it should be given away as he got it for free. But that's just me :p

Yeah I agree, and feel the same. Just wanted to mention it and put it out there that there have been some issues

No piracy here - I bought the witcher 3 on steam, and realised I needed a better GPU.
Bought a new GPU and the game came bundled with the card.
