Sounds about right, normally around the last week of June. Guess its time I start farming Cards to sell.

Also, can't they wait a week? Sale is normally over by the time my salary comes in, but maybe that is a good thing. I think the cart checkout is something like 48 hours, right?

The cards work like this:
Give all your cards to Solitude. He will then at some point during the year give you game which you may or may not like. That's basically the gist of it.

The sale should last at least a week so hopefully your payday will be in time.

Fire Up Idle Master And collect all the badge cards still outstanding (No need to have game installed for this to happen). Then sell cards on Steam Market. I normally find that prices are higher at the start of a sale as people need them to complete packs for Sale promo's.

Use card money to buy a game. Seeing that I have 2 accounts I can normally farm Holiday cards faster than norm so tend to sellf the 1st batch as well.

Yes it starts off with all for the 1st hour or so and then go cycling one by one to pick up the missing cards

I see the PS4 one is gone. I suspect somebody done goofed and put the PC price on the PS4 copy

Yeah it starts at 7PM. Though I miss the old sales format where new deals would pop up each day. Plus there was some deeper discounts.

Fortuitously I got a Gamma case drop in CS:GO on Tuesday night which netted me R53 so my Steam Wallet is sitting close to R100 and ready for the sale.
