Off Topic. Its so sad. Either the South African education system failed you guys real badly or inbreeding has indeed begun.

Agreed. Just not particularly cool on why people need to question the reason why a thread a member makes exists. Thats bout it.

Just pointing out this is Off Topic. If the rules state no threads of a certain type.. cool. got no problem with that, but otherwise anyone has the right to post anything and people can just scroll past it if they dont like it.

Free. Fair. Simple

Oh yes. I just quoted one person above in my previous post, but I was mainly talking about like the 8 posts that followed that making it look unacceptable to talk about certain things.

There are a variety of different people on the internet.

MrG - most if not all those disparaging comments were made by the senior members ...... and we are hardly ever nasty in our remarks ;)
 
fair enough. I just felt slightly as if posting about certain topics will automatically result in being discouraged.

In this case it was big news because everyone knows Oprah and it was her announcing the end of "The Oprah Show".

Otherwise yeah. My post above had a bit too much bite for what was said, but I am known to be defensive I guess.
