Original Wii is outselling the Wii U

i think Nintendo better move into software and give up hardware. thats the only way Sega is still alive today. they had great hardware and great software, but nobody bought it thanks to bullish marketing by the competition, and the smart move was to abandon hardware. imagine the day when Mario runs around on an XBOX, or Link travels the worlds of Playstation... i would invest in that much more than in new hardware with slim pickings as far as titles go.

It's been said by the head of Nintendo that this would never happen. They'd rather die completely than resort to this.

It seems like the head of Nintendo should get a wake up slap. They ignored what the market was expecting and wanted and in stead tried to redo the Wii. Sadly that was a bad idea as is plainly evident, moving into software specialisation would be the smart thing to do or else children 10 years from now won't have a clue who Mario is.
