he fired 3 shots all of which hit her....I'm betting his testimony is going to be that he fired the 2 "missed" shots first as warning shots after which there was no response so he then went for the kill
Your jokes are bad and you should feel bad.
ok so now there are 3 versions (that I know of)he fired 3 shots all of which hit her....
Your jokes are bad and you should feel bad.
Its horrible to joke about something like this.....

It is somehow in our nature to joke about tragic situations. Maybe it's a coping mechanism?
Then ask Med students to have a fun and make jokes when they are carving up dead bodies for practice. It makes it easier too feel comfortable around their gore filled job.
Even made front page of reddit.....
Must be big then
LMAO @ the comment that there is somehow a "mature" anything on this forum.
Here's the fact: no one knows what exactly happened and how this situation panned out. Everything is speculation at this point. And to judge or even worse, make jokes about this matter is just another showcase on how screwed up our society is.
Maar die meeste van julle hier is 'n klomp donnerse werf-ettertjies wat nie weet wat aangaan nie. So julle het nooit respek gehad om mee te begin nie.
Let someone in your family die then see how it is...
When my dad died, yes we were sad about it at first then I started seeing a psychiatrist and he even suggested to trying joking about the funny days that i remember and that helped me over come it.
So yes joking about is a normal mature thing to do, its a defense mechanism, you will find that a person who jokes about tragedies will have had some sort of tragedy in their life, and since joking worked in their life they apply it to people they dont even know.
You would rather remember someone that put a smile on your face than someone that made u depressed/sad. Hence even though it may seem cruel and that we dont have respect, we in fact have the utmost respect for the people we joke about.
Beeld newspaper dedicated five full pages to the story, with its front page story, headlined "Dood agter deur [Dead behind door]", saying it understood Steenkamp was shot four times through a bathroom door.
According to the paper the police and security guards were called to his house about two hours before the shooting, after neighbours heard him and Steenkamp argue.
The police were called out a second time around 03:00 after neighbours heard gunshots, reported Beeld, quoting an unnamed Silver Woods estate resident.
A resident said her body was found in the bathroom. Steenkamp apparently was shot four times: in the head, chest, pelvis and hand

Do guys honestly believe that making "bullet for my valentine" jokes is a mature defence mechanism? At best, that is a laughable excuse. The jokes aren't about the funny times you shared with Oscar or his girlfriend. I doubt any of you knew him, least of all those making these deplorable jokes. The jokes are made at the expense of someone that was shot DEAD. How the hell is that mature?
Defending these comments is just a way of justifying to yourselves that it's ok to be a real douchebag.

(ie say someone close to them say would have died, they make jokes about it, they make jokes about other peoples grievences because
1. Even though they know the person (ie celebrity), they dont personally know them
2. Joking about their tradegy made them overcome grief so its natural for them to apply it to other people)
