Outlast (The Thread Of C******* Your Pants)

From the vid i think the guy over reacts a bit :p i'm not a person that gets scared i think it's because i anticipate there is always something around the next corner or behind me. i will play this just to see how it goes.

people said dead space was scary i laughed most the time when something happened, i'll have to check amnesia when it hits too.

But i think this best time to play this would be 2 in the morning :D
 
From what I've played of Outlast it's much more disturbing than it is scary, although it definitely has its moments. Only played about an hour or so, but I've heard about some of the very disturbing things from a colleague.

It is a rather graphically disturbing game, with some very weird parts...

I would just like to point out that this game became popular mainly because of pewdiepie...

Yeah the scares are mainly being chased :p But I also found it more disturbing. I have surround sound headphones and I have to say it has fantastic 5.1 support. I could hear them breath into my ear :p

Whats scary about this game is the fact some really awful things happen in asylums even in todays times.
 
It doesn't show much but i think this might be a scary game as well when it hits


And another zombie apocalypse game coming :p

he is famous for being funny, not being unscarable. hence the reason he is asked to play these horror games...

Yeah i know who he is but to give you an instance i drove my Audi off a 75m hill side got up walked out and called my wife and made a joke with her before i told her i went off the side of a mountain :p

I really have a very hard time getting scared.

Hahahahaha The people at work call me a ghost so i guess they also think it's not normal :p Watch a movie called "The Conjuring" i thought it was funny my wife didn't like me so much after i told her it was a comedy :D

But i do think all those games are something that can get adrenaline pumping and i would love to play all of them. will see if i can get that the end of the month on steam

What you need to do is get an oculos rift and play a horror game on high volume :D
 
Okay, I picked this up for $5 on Humble and I just finished it. Hmm. Most tense game I've played in a while, but I didn't really like the ending.

Anyone know if the DLC is any good? I might as well play it while I'm still in the 'scared shitless' state.

Bought the DLC but not played it yet, but according to the reviews the gameplay remains unchanged, but the gore and scare factor is turned up substantially apparently. But it does flesh out the beginning of the story as well as provide a bit more meat to the story following the end of the original game. (i.e. the story takes place before and after the main game)
